The Bristol Syrian Supper Club is the first flagship supper club to launch outside London. Kicking off in March of 2018, the Bristol Syrian Supper has been held in the gorgeous Hart's Bakery.
Address:
Hart's Bakery, 35 Lower Approach Rd, Bristol BS1 6QS
The Bristol Syrian Supper Club comprises three courses of beautiful and seasonal Syrian-inspired food. We want to remind or introduce you to (what we reckon is) one of the world’s best and lesser known cuisines, while raising money for aid projects in Syria at the same time. We’ll also tell you exactly where the funds raised go. What's not to love?
Ruth Quinlan has fed prime ministers, pop stars, and most importantly, years and years worth of Syrian Supper Clubbers. She started at the Eagle (& compiled their book), was head chef at the Bermondsey Kitchen and E5 Bakehouse, has toured the world as a travelling chef and once toyed with becoming a tattooist in Ibiza. More recently however, she took up as the backbone of the Syrian Supper Club at e5, cooking each and every month for the fine punters that came our way. And it seems that even with all that we couldn’t exhaust her – because she has taken up the Syrian Supper Club Bristol mantle!
Seating: We like to place guests, so please let us know when booking your ticket in the comments section if you'd like to be seated with other guests (if you are not on the same booking).
In terms of cancellation, we can offer a full refund on a ticket as long as you let us know at least three days before the event. This is to ensure that we don't end up with empty seats round the dinner table, and each supper raises the maximum it can for the aid projects we fund in Syria.
It's BYOB, and we'll serve you a cocktail when you arrive.
We are very happy to cater for dietary requirements where we can. We will be as flexible as possible, but we do have a set menu which means that some dishes can't be adapted. Please make sure you let us know in the comments section when booking your ticket whether you have any dietary requirements.
We're very happy to cover:
Tickets sell out like hot honey cakes on a cold day. There are three price tiers, based on how generous you are feeling, starting at £30.
